It's Google's chat: people who use it don't get ten links, but a text with a few names in it. In the questions measured, 7 names came up in total. If yours isn't one of them, for the person asking you're not there.
What it is, and why it matters.
AI Mode is Google's chat: it opens in its own tab and answers with a full text, not ten links. People who use it read the names Google suggests, and often go no further.
It's not the AI Overview, and the two are easy to mix up. The AI Overview is the box above the results of a normal search, it only shows up on some searches, and it has its own page.
AI Mode, on the other hand, almost always answers. That's why what counts here isn't whether it's there, but who it names: the platform asks every question several times and counts in how many answers each business comes up.

What you can do.
From the outside you can't see which sites AI Mode reads, but it works like the other assistants: it names whoever it finds well described on a page that answers the customer's question. It can be a local guide, a portal, or your business's own site. That's the work Mador does: it finds the questions you're missing from and writes the pages that answer them, ready to put online.
Where these numbers come from.
These numbers show in how many answers each business comes up, question by question, with the date next to it.
They're not part of the number in your report, like the AI Overview figures: in Growth you'll find them separately.
The same question, a few minutes apart, can give a different answer, and a name may or may not be there. That's why every question is asked twice, and a name counts if it comes up in at least one of the two. Failed answers don't count: in this measurement there are none.
If a question wasn't asked, the page says so, and doesn't count it as a no.
Names are looked for among the businesses measured in the area. A business that isn't on the list may be named, but it isn't counted here.
AI Mode shows the sites it takes its answers from, but routes them through Google: from the outside there's no way to know which they are. That's why there's no list of sites here, and we don't say it reads none.
