Terms of service

Mador asks AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and others) which businesses they recommend in an area, and counts whether and how they mention yours. Then it helps you get mentioned more: profiles, texts and answers to publish, with your yes.

• Free scan: one measurement, no account and no payment.
• Monitor and Growth: monthly subscriptions with repeated measurements, alerts, texts and tools. What each plan includes is described on the site at the moment you subscribe.
• Agency: conditions agreed separately with the agency.

Mador is designed for businesses and professionals, who use it for their work. By subscribing you declare that you act for your business. If you are a consumer instead, all the protections the law gives you still apply, even where these terms say otherwise.

You sign in with a link sent to your email, without a password. Keep your mailbox safe: whoever reads it can get into your account. If you think someone got in instead of you, write straight away to support@mador.ai.

The data you enter must be true, and you must be entitled to represent the business you measure.

• Prices are the ones shown on the site and on the payment page, in euros. VAT, where due, is calculated by Stripe at payment.
• The subscription is monthly and renews automatically every month, on the same day, until you cancel it. Payment is made with Stripe, on its own page.
• If you move from Monitor to Growth, the change is immediate and you only pay the difference for the remaining days. If you move from Growth to Monitor, the change applies from the next renewal.
• If a payment fails, your data stays in the area but measurements stop until the payment is sorted out.
• Mador may change its prices. For existing subscribers the new price only applies from the renewal after at least 30 days' notice by email: if you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

You can cancel whenever you want from the area, with «Manage subscription», which opens the Stripe portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: until then the plan works, after that you pay nothing more. Pages and texts already published remain yours.

• A month that has already started is not refunded: cancelling stops the following renewals.
• If you pay twice by mistake, or pay for a month in which, because of a fault on Mador's side, the plan took no measurement at all, Mador refunds that amount. Write to support@mador.ai within 30 days of the charge.
• If you are a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from the subscription. If you ask for the service to start straight away, on withdrawal you only pay for the part of the month already used.

AI assistants decide on their own what to answer. Their answers change from one day to the next, from one question to another and from one version to another, and nobody outside the companies that build them can decide them. That is why Mador does not promise that your business will be mentioned, in which position, or how many clients or how much revenue will follow.

What Mador guarantees is the method: measurements taken as described on the site, numbers recorded on the day of the measurement, and the work included in the plan.

Mador prepares profiles, texts and answers for you. Nothing is published without your yes. When you approve content, on Mador or on your own site, you make it yours: you provide the data and the text, and you are responsible for them. Pages published on Mador say so under every text: Mador does not verify the data and expresses no opinion.

Before approving, check that everything is true and up to date (prices, opening hours, services, qualifications) and that you have the right to use names, trademarks and images. Mador may remove content that breaks the law, other people's rights or these terms.

You may not:

• measure or claim as yours a business you do not represent;
• get around usage limits, run scans in bulk or read the site with automated programs;
• publish false, misleading, offensive or illegal content, or fake reviews;
• resell the service or the reports without an Agency agreement;
• try to get in where you have no access or to disrupt the service.

If this happens, Mador may suspend the account after warning you, or straight away in serious cases. If the suspension turns out to be unjustified, you get back the unused part of the month.

Mador takes care of the service, but cannot guarantee that it always works without interruptions: it also depends on external providers, including the assistants it measures. Towards business clients, Mador's liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months and does not cover indirect damage such as lost profit. The limit does not apply to wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow it.

You can use your reports and the content you approve as you wish for your business. The platform, the code, the method and the archive of measurements remain Mador's. Measurements are about public answers from the assistants, and Mador may use them, including in aggregate form, for the site's public pages and articles.

Mador may update these terms. If the change is significant, subscribers receive an email at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree you can cancel before it takes effect.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For business clients the competent courts are those of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain). If you are a consumer you can always go to the courts where you live, and the consumer protection rules of your country still apply.
